About Us

Lisa Antonini is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer.  She completed the Master Trainers Course at the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio.  National K-9’s certification is recognized around the world and is regarded as a leader in the fields of dog training, behavior modification and trainer education.  National K-9 is recognized by the “Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools,” and was founded in 1975.

Lisa is a member of National K-9’s Graduate Association and an associate member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), the group of dog experts recommended by Cesar Milan, star of National Geographic Channel’s The Dog Whisper.

She believes the learning never stops and regularly attends seminars, workshops and conferences, staying educated on new theories and technologies in dog training.  

Lisa has Professional Certification in the following:

Basic and Advanced Obedience, Tracking, Personal Protection, Police K-9, Behavior Modification, Scent Detection, Utility, Puppy Development, Assistance Dog and Retrieval.

In addition to running Stay and Obey LLC Training, she regularly volunteers at our local Humane Society.

She and her husband, Chris share their home with “Wilson”, a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Lab Mix; “Piper” a new Border Terrier Puppy; as well as "Beastie" and "Edna", two Tabby Cats.

Her passion is helping owners learn to communicate with their dogs leading to a happier life for all. 

"I believe all dogs can benefit from some sort of training.  We send our children to kindergarten, elementary school, high school and then college; why not send our four legged kids to school too?"
